Hi I'm Ben!

I'm a soccer player. I love technology. And I love doing anything active. But most importantly, I'm Mormon.

About Me

I love doing anything active whether it's running, playing ultimate or biking I love it all. I just graduated from high school. I am going to work instead of going to college next semester so I can go on a mission. I love developing websites and doing anything involving technology. I love my family a lot. I also love the gospel and my Heavenly Father very very much.

Why I am a Mormon

I love going to church every Sunday and feeling welcome. Not only do I feel welcome by the wonderful members of the church but more importantly the spirit that is there is so welcoming and peaceful. I also love how everybody in the church is always there to help you no matter what. I like the closeness and the family type atmosphere that is at church every Sunday. Most importantly to me I love how encompassing the gospel is. There is always something new to learn and the things you do learn become part of your everyday life and make you a better person. I know that this church is the true church. That it provides us with the opportunity to return to our Heavenly Father in heaven. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and if you read it with the intent of finding that truthfulness you will find it.

How I live my faith

I participate in boy scouts and the young men's youth program. Both are very fun but uplifting at the same time and provide me with the opportunity to be with youth my same age who have the same standards that I do.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

All Mormons are not required to serve a mission but it is something that young men at the age of 19 and young women at the age of 21 are encouraged to do. It provides them an opportunity to teach the gospel, and provide service to others. It also often helps them discover more about themselves and grow as individuals.  Show more Show less
