Hi I'm Ty

I love to see the world, I love to experience the world, I want to change the world, life is good, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work full time as a digital marketer. I enjoy playing sports, getting outside, and being active. I also love making videos and watching movies. My hobbies include snowboarding, cliff jumping, dancing, reading novels, skating, camping, hanging out with friends, and anything else that looks like fun. I love to travel near and far to see new and interesting things. I like almost all types of food and want to learn how to cook all types of food. In the future I'd like to start a clothing brand that promotes living a good life.

Why I am a Mormon

First off, I believe that the only way I can return to live with my Heavenly Father is through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. I want to follow Him and I believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church, so that is why I am Mormon. I was born into a family who were all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a grew up I had some wonderful, spiritual experiences that strengthened my testimony of this faith. I eventually came to the conclusion that I knew for myself that I believed all the things I was taught, and I wanted to continue being a Mormon. Because I believe the teachings, I want to teach them to my future family. One of the biggest things that draws me to stay a Mormon is the happiness and joy I get from living my faith. I know that by living by the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I experience a fullness of joy that can't be found anywhere else. Because I have grown up in a Mormon family, I have personally seen and experienced the blessings that come when a family follows the teachings of Jesus Christ. Also, with my faith I can look forward to the future with confidence knowing that things will be okay. Finally, I rely on my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ so much that I don't know what I would do without them in my life. I need them. They are a part of my every day life and I don't want to give that up.

How I live my faith

Throughout all the things I do in my life there is always one solid foundation that supports it. That foundation is my testimony of God, Jesus Christ, the Holdy Ghost, and the Gospel that they have restored back on this earth through living prophets. Every day I make sure to pray and read the word of God. Without those things, I would be lost in this world. I also strive to keep all the commandments they have given me in order for me to be happy. By doing all of these things, I know that I am guided in my day to day life. This allows me to trust in God, not stress out about life, and be happy. There are other ways I live my faith. I attend church meetings and try to serve my fellow man whenever I can. Mainly, I try to live in the way that Christ would. It is not so much about doing certain "things" as much as a way of life. In essence, I try to be a good person and that is how I live my faith.
