Hi I'm Michelle

I love to create with my hands. I have a husband and two toddlers. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I enjoy cooking for my family, painting, sewing and crafting for my home, watching movies with my husband, playing hide-and-go-seek with my children, being active outdoors, and making and listening to good music. I play the piano and have a Master's degree in harp performance. I cherish the peaceful music that our magnificent God has created for us. The music that makes me feel good inside.

Why I am a Mormon

Each time I visit one of God's holy temples I catch a glimpse of what it is like to abide with God. I want to dwell with God. I want my family to as well. Forever. Jesus Christ's gospel has been restored to the earth after many centuries of his priesthood power not existing here. I have been baptized by this power and try everyday to live the teachings of Jesus so that one day I can live with God, Jesus Christ, my Savior, and my family, forever. This is why I am a mormon.

How I live my faith

In college I was constantly performing on the harp for various audiences. I even got to play for Oprah Winfrey and for our prophet, Thomas S. Monson, but not together! More importantly, over the years I have learned that it is my life performance that is crucial. Heavenly Father is the audience member and supporter, and I have this one life here on earth to perform for him. One. One life to choose to be baptized, to repent of my sins that Jesus Christ has paid for, to choose to marry and treat my spouse with the utmost respect, to choose to teach our children to love each other. One life to show Him that I want to live with him again. Through prayer, I check in with him daily. He lets me know how I'm doing. It's a hard performance, tougher than "The Carnival of Venice" on the harp. Yet, I know that it is terribly worth it.
