Hi I'm Bradley Bray

I'm a father and a husband. I'm a European Sales Manager. I'm also a Mormon :)

About Me

My wife and I have two children, with a third soon to be born. Being young with small children is daunting, but nonetheless it is the best thing that has happened to us. Our children bring us great joy. I am a European Sales Manager, who frequently has to travel into mainland Europe. This was made possible after serving a full-time, self-funded mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was sent to the Berlin, Germany mission. Here I learnt German and now use this within my career and have begun to learn French. I enjoy a personal challenge. My brothers, some friends and I have completed the 'Lands End to John O'Groats' bike ride. The three peaks challenge is next, combined with training for both Triathlon and IronMan events. I respect any individual, who can take a personal weakness and overcome it through faith and determination.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converted to the Mormon faith before I was born. I have always been involved in the church. This does not make it any easier to want to follow in their footsteps. I have had to learn for myself that living my faith can bring me true happiness and peace. I still had to follow the same steps like any other, who investigates the church. I too, had to search, ponder and pray. I have had spiritual witnesses and experiences that have shaped and strengthened my belief. I am a Mormon, because I have seen firsthand the positive influence it has had in all areas of my life. I am grateful to know that there is a God and we all have a saviour who is Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Living a faith is the ultimate endurance race. I have been fortunate in my life to have had great trainers and coaches; such as my parents, friends and leaders. I recognise now, more then ever the benefit of such influences. I look-up to them for inspiration. Having an enduring faith is more then simply spectating, it requires effort. Through scripture study, prayer and chances to serve, I am reminded daily of my purpose in this life and what is store in the life to come. This knowledge makes it easier to bare trials and times of hardship. It is by doing and living the things that I have been taught, where I have come to know that there is a God and Saviour for all mankind.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Bradley Bray
I personal raised the funds for my mission. I began saving half of my wage as a newspaper delivery boy. This half would be given to my mum for my mission. This continued from the age of 12-19years of age. The money is given to the church and put into a missionary fund, which is then distributed amongst all of the missions worldwide. Show more Show less
