Hi I'm Kelsee

I love to capture the beauties God has created and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a photographer, creator and musician. I love my family and cherish memories. I try to see beauty in all things and I find significance in the little things. I'm a loving wife with a testimony and message of hope to others, like me, who know there is so much more to life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because in this world of ever growing stress and grief, through my religion, I have gained a testimony of the reality of hope, light, love and everlasting peace. To millions in the world, hope seems so easily given up on, light seems so easily distinguished, love seems so illogical, and peace is something many can't even comprehend. The knowledge that I am a child of a very real and loving God and the product of a very thoroughly thought out plan gives me the strength to endure the moments in life that can bring you down. Knowing that Jesus Christ is a brother to me...someone who sacrificed for my happiness...gives me great strength to keep trying even when I make mistakes. There are things happening in this world today that are heartbreaking, embarrassing and terrifying. But there is nothing in this world that with the help of the Lord we cannot overcome and keep in check. Being a Mormon strengthens me and teaches me how to find faith, strength and courage and keeps me believing there is good in the world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying determined to learn as I attend church meeting and participate in our community of Saints. I share my musical abilities with the members of my congregation by playing the piano as together we worship the lord through song. I have helped members learn and grow by leading gospel discussions and encouraging others to share their feelings to uplift and help one another. I strive to be an example wherever I go of someone who is happy and optimistic. It is important to me that others know it is my faith that allows me to be this way.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Mormons believe that families can be together forever. For eternity. Through the power of God (the priesthood) ordinances are performed in sacred temples around the earth that bind families together so death can never separate them. I was adopted as a baby and sealed to my family with this power and it means more to me than I can say to know, with a surety, that I am theirs and they are mine and we will be a family forever. Nothing is more important than family and ties can always be mended and bridges unburned when the Lord plays a part. Show more Show less
