Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years. We have two perfect daughters. We have both been in school our whole marriage and will be for several more years. My husband is studying Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. I am a stay at home Mommy. I am finishing my degree online through BYU. I enjoy crafting, sewing, decorating, thrifty makeovers, exercising, and playing with my children. I treasure the precious moments of seeing young minds grow and learn new things. The gift of life is truly fascinating to me and simply irreplaceable.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know for myself that there is no other way my family and I can reach our full potential and truly find complete happiness without following the Lord's full and restored gospel. I have read the Book of Mormon and listened to our prophet's voice and have had the peaceful feeling that they testify of our loving Father in Heaven and His son, our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that families are eternal and that as we strive to live the way God commands, we can have the blessing of being together forever, not just in this life. This knowledge is very personal to me. Just over a year ago my precious 21 month old Emma Mae passed away. We are heartbroken. She was the joy of our lives. We have suffered tremendous pain and grief as we mourn our great loss. But, we know that this loss is only temporary. God has prepared a way for us to live together one day. We are bound together and although we miss her dearly every moment of every day we know that she is ours. She is not gone forever. It is this knowledge that I cling to every day. It is in my deepest, darkest moments when I am questioning why this happened and how I will ever survive that I feel God's immense love. I know He has not forgotten me. I know He loves me. I have personally felt the Savior's love for me as I ponder on the sacrifice He made for me and each and every one of us. His love is unfeigned and perfect. He made it possible for someone as flawed as me to have the hope of one day returning to live with God. He has made it possible for each and every one of us. His arm is extended, it is up to us to take His hand.

How I live my faith

I am a wife and mother first and foremost, a calling I hold in the highest regard. Nothing is more important to me than nurturing them and teaching them. I try to share my happiness with others through teaching them of God's love for them. I try to be a friend to all regardless of our differences. I hope others can feel of their personal worth through my love for them.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

People have put Moroni's promise found in th Book of Mormon to the test. They have prayed with a sincere heart to know if it is true. They can know for themselves. We value all of God's commandments and strive to follow them. We are more concerned about what God feels about us than what the world does and we are willing to take a stand on things and be different through loyalty to a higher power. We find purpose to the here and now by knowing where we came from and where we are going. We value relationships made here on earth and know that God loves each and every one of His children and knows them individually. Show more Show less
