Hi I'm Spencer Baker

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have one child. We currently live in California while my wife and I go to school and gain a higher education. We both enjoy food, she is a pastry chef, I especially enjoy the outdoors where I hunt and fish as well as spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I Know that God lives and loves me and you. He has blessed my life with so many talents and opportunities. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, I know this because I too have taken Moroni's challenge and have asked Heavenly Father if these things are true. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of the Lord, he leads and guides us in time of great tribulation. I know that the gospel is confusing at times but as we keep close to the Lord through prayer our answers will be answered and we will be filled with the love of Christ and Satan will not have power over us. I know that Joseph Smith did see our Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ in the sacred grove, having been there and feeling the spirit that resides there I cannot deny it. I know that Christ suffered for me and you out of pure love for us so that we can one day return to our Father in Heaven. He suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for mine and your sins. I love the Savior and our Father in Heaven and my life would not be anywhere without the gospel and all that come with it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one step at a time. It does not come all at once, it is a life long process to strive to follow the commandments. I try to live my life righteously as I learn and grow in the gospel. I love teaching and talking about the gospel with others. I currently serve as a cub scout den leader. The church is a large supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and I have been a beneficiary of the programs having earned my eagle scout by the time I turned 18.
