Hi I'm Ricky

I'm a member of the United States Army, I'm a husband and father, I'm a golfer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Arkansas. I have been in the US Army for fifteen years that has allowed me to serve and travel in the United States and abroad. I've been deployed to various dangerous hotspots. Currently, I am a US Army Recruiter. I am married with two children, two cats and a dog. I have played golf since I was thirteen years old. I have a two handicap and love to get the chance to play as often as possible. I love to spend time outdoors. I enjoy volunteering for my church and my surrounding community.

Why I am a Mormon

Because why being in the military, we as a family would attend many different churches on the military installations and none of them felt as if I was getting the meaning of the gospel of Jesus Christ and one evening I ordered the Book of Mormon and after taking the discussions through the missionaries I knew in my heart that I have found the true church on earth and since then my life has truly changed and for both my family and I. God Bless to everyone and I hope everyone the very best in finding their answers,

How I live my faith

I live my faith by simply striving to live my life based on D&C 4. "1Now behold, a amarvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men. 2Therefore, O ye that embark in the aservice of God, see that ye bserve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand cblameless before God at the last day. 3Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God ye are acalled to the work 4For behold the afield is white already to bharvest and lo, he that thrusteth in his sickle with his might, the same layeth up in cstore that he perisheth not, but bringeth salvation to his soul 5And afaith, bhope, ccharity and dlove, with an eeye single to the fglory of God, gqualify him for the work. 6Remember faith, avirtue, knowledge, btemperance, cpatience, dbrotherly ekindness, fgodliness, charity, ghumility, hdiligence. 7aAsk, and ye shall receive bknock, and it shall be opened unto you. Amen."

Who are the Mormons?

Mormons are are simple people. We are a diverse group of individuals that range from the poorest of poor to the richest of rich. The one thing we have in common is our faith. We believe in Jesus Christ as many Chrisitans do. We read the Bible, but we also have the Book of Mormon that is another testament of Jesus Christ. We go to church on Sunday, we volunteer in our church and community and we help our fellow men and women. Show more Show less
