Hi I'm Jeanny

I am a wife and mother. I love to cook. Not a fan of cleaning. I'm an adrenaline junkie and a chocolate addict. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have an amazing husband and a 10 month old little boy who just lights up the world. I am done with my education for now and I am happily working on starting and raising my family. I love to read! I love adventure! I have been para-sailing in the Swiss Alps and have dreams of sky diving one day. I love to rock climb. I would do it every day if I could. I also love riding horses. Although I'm not the star player, I love to play sports. Most of all, I love my family! I love just spending time with them! I don't particularly like cleaning but I love a clean house. Sometimes I wish I was a real genie so I could just snap my fingers and everything would be done in an instant. Don't we all wish for that though...

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because it makes me happy. Plain and simple. I tried living life without the church and I was not happy. In the Book of Mormon it says that we are, we were created, so that we might have joy. (2 Nephi 2:25) I truly believe that Heavenly Father loves us, even more than we love our own children, and He wants us to be happy. And He has provided a way for that to happen. I know that by living according to the standards He has set, we can truly be happy despite the storms that confront us throughout our lives. I choose to be a Mormon because it brings me peace and comfort in a world that is filled with war and poverty and uncertainty.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in the way that I treat people and in my every day actions. I don't always succeed but I try to help people know that they are important and loved. I try to be completely honest with myself and everyone around me. I organize activities for the younger girls in our community. We do crafts and service projects. We learn about the Savior and how to be more like Him.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is just that, a society of women that was established to provide relief and comfort to those in need. For me, it provides opportunity to get outside of myself, to serve and love those around me, even those I may not know. By attending Relief Society I learn how to be a better wife and mother, a better friend and a better person. I learn to be more like the Savior. I learn about my important role as a woman and the good that I can do for my family and community. Show more Show less
