Hi I'm Soneghet

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Computers have always been an obsession in my life. I have used Timex Sinclairs, Apples II, TRSs, PCs, for a long time. They amaze me for their wonderful possibilities and I love to consider myself a witness of the computer industry history. These days I am trying to update my web producing technics by learning new web codes. I am a father of two wonderful young ladies. Along with my wife and my mom, they bring joy to my life here and hopefully forever. We are working on that! I Bachalored in Physical Therapy and I have studied some other things like English and informatics, of course.

Why I am a Mormon

I had my first contact with the missionaries happened through a very dear friend when I was nineteen. The simple joy of their attitude, their neatness, the wonderful feeling around them made me feel I wanted to do that work, even though I had no idea about what they did. Reading the scriptures and listening to their lessons, soon I felt so attached to that sweet feeling that I decided to join the LDS church. Even though I had no real relationship with my family’s religion, those news were not an easy issue. I had to wait for a year before I could get baptized. After that I was called to serve a mission in the south part of Brazil. That was a life changing experience which deepened my roots in the gospel and taught me that I could really depend on my Heavenly Father and the wonderful Atonement performed by our dear savior and redeemer, The Lord Jesus Christ. Soon enough I was married to my dear wife in the São Paulo Temple and our sweet girls came to enrich our lives. As I look back, I consider myself richly blessed by the mercy of God and His Son.

How I live my faith

My family and I are very active in our Church community. While my oldest daughter works with the young women organization I work with the young men. My wife is active in Scouting and my younger daughter registers all that in pictures. Teaching the youth is a very frequent activity I take part every Sunday and on Wednesday nights. We try to talk about their issues, doubts and feelings and to follow them as they find their own testimonies and find their own ways on developing their relationship with the Gospel.
