Hi I'm Gina

I am Polynesian and I am Mormon.

About Me

My culture is Samoan, but I was raised in the West Coast of the US. I am single, have no children, but am the favorite Aunt of all my nieces & nephews & my friend's kids. I have strong family values. My family has always been my greatest support in all that I do and have done in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have studied, pondered & prayed about this religion. I knelt in prayer and asked Heavenly Father myself about what I heard & read & my answer came as a strong feeling that what I heard and what I studied about the Book of Mormon and the Gospel was absolutely true. I continue to study and grow in the Gospel. I know for a fact that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was restored by the hand of God. The church is structured exactly how Jesus structured it back then. You can read about how Jesus called his apostles & prophets & how they had temples by reading the New Testament in the Bible. The restored Gospel is structured the same because this is His church. I testify that God loves us so much that he has made a way for us to return to him and these are taught to us through the Bible accompanied by the Book of Mormon. I know that Jesus is the Savior of the world & God does live! Although I've never seen them, I know they exist and they love us enough to show us the way through the Teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in our congregation or LDS Ward in the Young Women's Program. We teach the Young Women of our Ward about Jesus Christ and how we should lead and live a Christ-like life. We teach them how to combat the evils of this generation and that they are of great worth. We have a great program for our YW called the Personal Progress program where they grow in the Gospel and learn how to stand as a witness of God as they live and learn about values.
