Hi I'm Marti

I am a nurse. I am from British Columbia. I love to talk to people, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have worked as a Home Care Nurse for 30 years. I am now semi-retired and work part-time doing health education and screening clinics. I love helping people. My husband and I live in a town house with our 2 lovely cats. If I did not have arthritis, I would be gardening. I can still manage to sew.

Why I am a Mormon

I was first introduced to the Church 17 years ago by 2 lovely young women, who were Mormon missionaries. I felt the presence of God and felt that I must pay attention. I soon met some women in the Church and I began to want what they had, namely peace and joy from knowing God, and living a life led by Jesus Christ and His Gospel.

How I live my faith

I have served most of my years in the Church as a teacher on Sundays and as a leader. To my surprise, I was called to be a Sunday School leader for children, ages 3-12. It is great fun and quite the challenge. I visit several women of the Church to share the Gospel, listen to their personal stories, and hear and help them with their concerns. The Church's teachings have also helped me to be a more patient wife. My life has changed for the better, and continues to get better every passing year.
