Hi I'm Lynn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a married mom of two missionaries currently serving in Washington Kennewick and California Ventura missions. I live in the beautiful state of Alaska and love researching my family history. I am also recovering from a stroke I had three years ago. My father was in the US Army so we moved around a lot.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because my mother wanted something more for her family. When the missionaries came to our door, she listened to them and knew the Church was true. We were baptized as a family and a year later sealed as a family in the Oakland Temple. Growing up in the Church, watching my parents hold callings, Home Teaching and Visiting Teaching every month without fail; they were and are great examples of who I wanted to be. Their children, all married and sealed in the temple; missionaries (past, present, and future) - we owe all of this to my mom and dad, and I want to be this kind of example to my sons.

How I live my faith

I teach Primary age children that are eleven, turning twelve. I volunteer at the Family History Center and love to help people reconnect with their ancestors and help them with FamilySearch.org to prepare names to take to the temple. I do my Visiting Teaching and make sure my Visiting and Home Teachers visit me. I love to smile and meet people and make them feel welcome at Church.
