Hi I'm Kristynn

I know I can scale any mountain, ford any river and survive any storm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, mother of three and a loving friend. Any spare moment I can be found with my nose in a book. I'm an RN. I love using my nursing knowledge to help others. I grew up playing sports of all kinds. I love to walk! And I love cleaning.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon home but my parents did not attend church. When I was 14 years old I became involved in the Mormon church's seminary program. It changed my life. I found peace a sense of purpose and hope. Being a Mormon is like being handed a specific set of instructions which, if followed gives life purpose, peace and hope. These instructions help me see through the darkest nights, the heaviest challenges, and all the experiences that could undermine my happiness. I battle many health issues but through my membership in the Mormon church I know I can handle any trial because I have a loving Heavenly Father who wants me to return to live with Him someday.

How I live my faith

My faith is apparent in every aspect of my life. I start my day living my faith by praying and reading from the Book of Mormon. I then listen for the voice of the Lord to guide me and help me reach out to someone who needs me that day. I am actively involved in the women's organization of the Mormon church. Through this program I am able to bless the lives of others. I live my faith by teaching others how to follow God's plan of happiness.

What is the Relief Society?

Kristynn
The Relief Society is the women's organization within the Mormon church. When a girl turns 18 she becomes a member of this organization. This society is designed to do exactly what it's name implies, give relief to those who stand in need. I know this organization was organized and patterned through Divine inspiration. Women have the opportunity to instruct and guide one another spiritually. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Kristynn
Being a Mormon brings calm, peace and joy into every area of my life. I feel hopeful about my life even when there are many challenges. As a mother, being a Mormon gives me strength to face the hardships, the worries, and the negative choices my children sometimes make. Being a Mormon brings security. I know I am never alone and will never be lost.  Show more Show less
