Hi I'm Julianne

I love to garden and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother of six and a grandmother of nine. I love to garden! Every year I plant a large vegetable garden and it is our family tradition that everyone in the family helps. All of my children have learned to enjoy this hobby. From our garden we love to make wonderful things like fresh salsa and red current jelly. I also love my flower garden. My house plants and orchids get me through the long winter and cheer me with beautiful colors. I love to decorate my house, changing the decorations with the seasons and holidays. I probably have too many dishes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and was taught from my youth to pray. I have aways received answers to my prayers. I don't ever remember a time when I did not believe that the gospel was true. From my prayers, I know my Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to be happy. I also know that Heavenly Father loves me because He sent his son, Jesus Christ to be an example for me and to be my Savior. I know that if I follow him and repent when I do something wrong I can return to Him some day. Even though I was born in the church, I had to work to receive my own testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This came through study, prayer, service and following the Savior.

How I live my faith

I had the opportunity for four years to teach some of the youth of the church the gospel in an early morning class before school each day. These faithful young people got up early enough to be at church at 600 AM each school day to study the scriptures. I now work with the women of the church 18 years old and older. I teach and train the leaders of ten different church units who have been called to lead the women of their congregation. I have enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful, faith filled women.
