Hi I'm Kristi

Raising my children is my full-time job and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy scrapbooking, couponing and gardening. I have 4 kids that keep me running. I choose not to work out of the home so that I can be there for my kids. I have a wonderful husband who is my best friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family who embraced the Mormon church. However, in my early teens I found myself questioning their beliefs. Even with my doubts, I felt drawn to the church. I felt something when I went every Sunday. It's not something I can really explain, I was just happier when I was at church. I began to make my prayers more sincere and my scripture reading purposeful. After some time, my doubts simply went away. It wasn't something that happened overnight, but I began to feel convinced of the truthfullness of what I had been taught my whole life. That growth of testimony continues in me and I will be a Mormon all my days.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life in harmony with the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I seek to be more like Him in all my actions. I am horribly flawed but I won't give up trying. Currently, I help the women's organization in my neighborhood by seeking out those in distress and helping to meet their needs.

Are Mormons Christians?

I don't think it is possible for a person to accurately judge whether a person is or is not a Christian. I mean, how can you look into their heart and see? I know I am a Christian. Maybe I'm not always a good Christian, but I am a Christian. Show more Show less
