Hi I'm Matt

I love doing crazy things. I'm a future returned missionary. I couldn't be prouder that I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports. I am the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan there is. I love my family. I have two adopted siblings from South Korea. I love hanging out with my friends. Making memories, and doing crazy stuff. A little while ago my friend and I went skydiving. Jumping out of an airplane at 14,000 feet was probably one of the craziest things that I've ever done. I also like to learn new things. I really enjoy school as weird as that sounds. For the next two years I have given all that up, to spread the gospel. I'm not just a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I'm also a missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

My family are converts to the Church. I've noticed a huge difference in my family after we joined. When I was seven years old, we had missionaries come teach us the true doctrine and gospel of Jesus Christ. Since then we have been so much closer as a family. The gospel of Jesus Christ has given us a path to follow. It has given us hope and a chance to be together for eternity. I don't think there could be a greater blessing than to be with your family now, and the life to come. I have a very strong testimony that there is a life to come. I know that through the teachings of Jesus Christ and his chosen servants, we can return to his presence. We can be together forever. Death is not the end, but a continuation of the eternal plan of salvation. Everyone has trials in their lives, I have been blessed to have not had many, but I have seen that the gospel helps with those challenges. The gospel gives us a focus on where our priorities need to be. I love his Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every second of everyday. The blessings I receive from living the gospel have convinced me to do so. As a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Washington Spokane Mission, I try my best to help spread that joy I have obtained from the gospel. Funny thing is that when I'm serving the Lord, I am blessed far beyond my sacrifice to do so. I love being a missionary and helping people come unto his gospel. I love teaching his word, and bringing souls closer to Christ. I am eternally greatful for the missionaries that helped my family, Elder Gee and Elder John. Now it's my turn to do the same. I do my best to help spread my faith everyday. In doing so, I live my faith.
