Hi I'm Kathe

I'm a Mormon. I joined the Church when I was 32. I've lived in a dozen different states. The Church is the same everywhere.

About Me

I am a retired wife and mother of 3 wonderful children and 1 stepdaughter. Currently I am the grandmother of 10 grandchildren who I love to spoil whenever I have the opportunity. I love to read, play Scrabble, do cryptograms, and peruse garage sales. During my working years, I was an operating room tech and a sterile processing tech. I enjoyed working with and organizing surgical instruments.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe and know in my heart that this is Jesus Christ's true Church upon the earth today. It was organized after the manner of His Church when He was on the earth, with Prophets, Apostles, Pastors & Teachers. There are no paid clergy and every member volunteers their services & time for whatever is needed. The Holy Spirit bears witness to my soul that this is Christ's true Church. I was baptized 35 years ago and have never wavered. The Book of Mormon is my favorite book of scripture. It's a second witness to the Bible. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I love Joseph Smith and admire him for the struggles he had to endure in order to restore Jesus Christ's Church. I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Currently I am a leader in the organization that teaches children aged 3 through 12. Every Sunday we teach the children about Jesus through sharing experiences, singing time and lessons. I have been fortunate to have taught the adults, the youth and the children throughout my years of service.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Kathe
Yes! God loves all of His children in every generation and is the same yesterday, today and forever. So why wouldn't we have a Prophet leading us today? Show more Show less
