Hi I'm Adam Shay Jensen

I am an artist, a hippy at heart, a long boarding fool, I sing songs with my guitar. I'm Adam Shay Jensen and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

HEEEEY! Im Adam, ajsome1, A. Shay J, Adam Shay Jensen, Aj, or whatever you come to know me as. I love life and i try to laugh and smile as much as i can. Building new friendships is super important to me and thats part of life that keeps me going, friends. Being raised as a mormon I have tried to be open minded in all things. I like to step out of my comfort zone to learn new things. I love to explore new ideas, new cultures, new life, and new perspective. I could never disregard someones opinion if it means I would benefit from them or they benefit from me. I enjoy giving. I like to help people. I find immense joy in brightening someones day or makeing someone smile. I love to smile. It is a simple way to make a room brighter. When im feeling lonely i sing myself a song, real or made up, or make random sounds to make myself feel better. I beleive a smile will cure the sickest heart. I play guitar and enjoy writing songs or covering songs and putting them on Youtube. I enjoy taking pictures in a different view that makes people wonder. I love the arts and the passion that drives me to create. Be of good cheer. For I am with thee. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love Art, Music and Movies and I love to create them all even more. My name is Adam Shay Jensen.

Why I am a Mormon

Through out my life i questioned my faith, my belief in God, and my religion. I was raised in this church, but as a member I have still had to find out if what i believe is true and sincerely pray to know. And I have done that. I once partook of things that we as Mormons are told NOT to indulge in and I can clearly say they don't bring happiness. Treating my body as a temple and having these "rules" are more like safety precautions. God commands us in different ways and gives us rules to protect us from harm. Why wouldn't we obey them. I am happy. And I couldn't be happier. I am Mormon because I know it is the only true church on the face of this Earth that teaches the true, full, and essential elements to bring us to God such as: The only way to find everlasting and true happiness is through Faith, Repentance, Baptism, the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End, all centered on the Atonement of Christ, and the restoration of these things through a prophet of God along with the authority from him to do so. Who doesn't want that. I believe this with all i have in my heart. I Am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I just try and live as closely as I can to Jesus Christ's life. I want to be a conduit of his love, patience, humility, vitue, happiness, and everything else he taught. I want people to notice a difference in my presense because there is something different. I have faith, and a knowledge of who God and Christ really are. I am a christian with christian morals, and I try my best to treat everyone as I would treat the Savior.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Adam Shay Jensen
Our heavenly father has sent us here on Earth for many reasons. One was to gain a body of flesh and bone as he has. We were spirits before this life and we needed an opportunity to progress. We came to Earth to gain a body and progress. We are here to learn good from evil and to recognize God in our own lives. We are here to grow so that when we die we will be able to once again live with our Heavenly Father. Often times we make mistakes or "sin," but through Christ's sacrifice we can learn to turn to him when we are in need to become clean again through faith, repentance, baptism, listening to the holy ghost, and enduring/enjoying to the end. Knowing this has blessed my life and i have seen it bless others as well. God loves us and wants us to love him and come to him. The first step, Prayer. Show more Show less
