Hi I'm Laura

I love the outdoors and am a mother of twin toddlers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home Mom of twins. My husband and I have been married for almost eight years and love anything outdoors. We've gone through the IVF process numerous times to have our children and hope to be blessed with more. For those who know this process, you know what it means to see the miracles of our loving Heavenly Father at work. I love being a Mom, even though it's hard, and feel blessed to be a part of a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and the powers that allow us to return to live with Heavenly Father again. I believe that we are children of a loving Heavenly Father who wants us to be happy and has given us the tools to do so while here upon the earth. My testimony is strengthened by the fact that I believe in families that are forever, sealed for eternity. I know that our Father in Heaven knows us personally, by name, and that He wants to talk with us through prayer in our lives each day. I know that He hears me, maybe not how I want Him to always, but that He knows what is best for me. I feel blessed to know that He can perform miracles on this earth. He has the power and the love to do all. I am grateful for the grace and love of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who not only atoned for me, but helps me each day with any task before me. I believe that we have a living prophet, who is Heavenly Father's mouth piece on this earth. God loves us so much that he gives us a prophet to help guide and direct us. I am a Mormon because I know the feeling in my heart is real and that it is Heavenly Father's plan for us to be families forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working with the members of our ward to better live our faith. I am what you call a "ward missionary." I work to help others share and talk about our church with others. I used to work the cub scouts, which I loved, and find great joy in working with the youth.
