Hi I'm Susan

I was born and grew up in Uganda.I'm Mormon.I love sports.

About Me

Am student of International Travel and Tourism.I love nature.I am always friendly and willing to serve.

Why I am a Mormon

In 2008 around May, about 9 years after my parents has separated i had just graduated from High school.Having grown up with a single mother who had struggled to raise me and my siblings,i never felt the love that should exist in a family.I felt alone even if i had a mother n sisters around me.I wanted to feel happy amidst all the challenges we had as a family.I wanted my siblings to be able to grow up looking up to me but even then i didn't know how best i could live my life so that i could achieve that goal.As i looked for so many alternatives to meet my goals, heavenly father in his finite love sent the missionaries to me through a friend they had contacted.I knew as soon as i talked to them that what they were telling me was true. The spirit testified to me that they were indeed sent to me by a loving heavenly father.I was filled with joy to know that am a child of God.That marked the new beginning in my life.Every decision i make,i strive to see that it's in line with his great plan for me.I have found the peace that i so needed even if i still face those challenges. With the Gospel in my life i now know that my siblings will grow up in the way of the Lord if i so live what i know to be true for there is no other way for me and them to be happy in this life and the life to come.

How I live my faith

I am an institute instructor. In institute we learn from the scriptures this includes but not limited to Bible,Book of Mormon e.t.c.I teach the gospel truths to youth between 18-30.This not only strengthens their testimonies but also my own.I learn from them and this becomes a motivation step for me to strive to live an exemplary life because many look up to me.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Susan
A family is central to heavenly father's eternal plan of happiness. In a family we learn all the basic principles that guide as in this life. It's through the family that we can find the greatest happiness.Families are ordanied of God and so they are Important. It's through following the gospel of Jesus Christ that a family can totally find unending happiness in both this life and the one to come.In the family both the husband and wife are equal patterners and they should(responsibility)teach their children the gospel as they grow up. Families can be eternal through that great plan of our father in heaven.I know that to have a family is a great blessing from God. Show more Show less
