Hi I'm Edward

I am a realtor, an educator, member of a fantastic family, and member of a fantastic church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in the real estate industry. I have over 13 years of experience representing clients from all price ranges. Helping families sell and buy homes is a great passion of mine. On a spiritual note, I believe that life is what we make of it and each new relationship that I create, whether it is for business or personal, is a precious opportunity to grow, learn, and serve one another. I have a wonderful wife that I married in the temple and we have four children that are sealed to us.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are converts to the church. I am very thankful that my Heavenly Father brought the gospel into my parents' lives because I could not imagine not knowing the plan of salvation. I know that this Church is true. I love the Book of Mormon. I love the Bible. I love this Church.

How I live my faith

I go to church and serve a calling as an assistant to the Ward Missionary Leader. Basically, I get to be a missionary! I love teaching others about the plan of happiness.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No. We admire, love, and respect Joseph Smith and consider him a prophet of God. We follow his teachings as we do with Moses and other prophets of old. What makes Joseph Smith unique amongst prophets is that he helped restore the Church of Jesus Christ back to the earth after a period of darkness, which is known as the Great Apostasy. After the death of Jesus Christ, wicked people persecuted the Apostles and Church members. With the death of the Apostles, priesthood keys and the presiding priesthood authority were taken from the earth. Without the Apostles, over time the doctrines were corrupted, and unauthorized changes were made in Church organization and priesthood ordinances, such as baptism and conferring the gift of the Holy Ghost. Without revelation and priesthood authority, people relied on human wisdom to interpret the scriptures and the principals and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ. False ideas were taught as truth. People became confused and frustrated. This apostasy eventually led to the creation of many churches. The Old Testament and Jesus Christ's Apostles foretold this universal apostasy. They also foretold that the gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church would be restored to the earth shortly prior to the second coming of our Savior. We live now in the last dispensation of time. Joseph Smith asked God "which church is the true church" and Jesus Christ appeared alongside the Father to Joseph with an answer. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

We absolutely believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe that He was the God of the Old Testament. Under the direction of the Father, He created the earth. He spoke to the Old Testament prophets such as Noah, Abraham and Moses. He was born to the virgin Mary in Bethlehem. He walked among the people of Palestine, working many mighty miracles. He suffered and died for our sins. He rose from the grave and ascended to Heaven to stand on the right hand of the Father. We believe that He appeared alongside the Father to the prophet Joseph Smith. Today, Jesus is at the head of our church and leads it through the prophet and twelve apostles. This was how Jesus orginaly setup his church prior to the great apostasy. Jesus Christ will come again to reign upon the earth with all those who have faith in Him. Through Him, and Him alone, we can be forgiven for our sins and receive eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Show more Show less
