Hi I'm William Arthur

I grew up in Houston, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana moved to Denver, Colorado, where I was baptized.

About Me

I'm a husband, father, and grandfather. My family and I enjoy cycling, hiking, and backpacking. I study the scriptures of the LDS church as well as Hindu and Buddhist texts and the Quran. I enjoy reading history with a focus in social conditions with less focus on politics and military campaigns.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose baptism in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the age of 30. My decision followed years of study, meditation, and prayer. The missionaries knocked on my door after beginning a new study of the New Testament and prayer concerning the life and gospel of Jesus Christ and what it meant to me today. As the missionaries taught me the Holy Spirit testified to me in a very powerful way that what they taught is true. My life greatly changed in wonderful ways. I have been a member now for over 30 years. I am deeply grateful that the Lord would send his servants to teach me and for all the blessings that have followed.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life. I consistently study the scriptures, attend all Sabbath Day meetings, have personal and family prayer daily, serve in church callings and attend the temple frequently.
