Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is David. I am married and a father of five. I grew up on the farm & ranch that my two brothers and I own and operate today. I served a mission in British Columbia, Canada. I went on to study economics and eventually received a Masters in Business Administration. After college, my wife and I settled back where I grew up. Our farm & ranch has been in the family since 1882. My great grandfather, Moroni to the brush out and cultivated a 160 acre parcel. Today, the family business is large and diverse. Running the business requires many of the skills I developed with my education. But I must say if I had to choose between office and outdoors, being outdoors is what I love most.

Why I am a Mormon

My great great grandfather was tauight the gospel and baptized by John Taylor in England. Following his conversion he moved his family to Utah -- eventually settling in Grantsville. Down through the generations our family has clung to the gospel. There was a point in time that I yearned to develop a closer relationship with the Savior. I knew that He was there, but I wanted to know that the course that my life was taking was right and approved of Him. I am grateful for those sacred, personal experiences that have assured me that the gospel is true, and the my efforts to call upon Him, to repent, to improve have been acknowledged and confirmed by the Spirit.

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed serving in the church and community. I served on our local school board for six years. I have been involved other local boards. My great love is working with the youth. I worked in boy scouts for many years.
