Hi I'm Trudy

I have been a Mormon all my life!

About Me

I am married and have three sweet children, two girls and a boy. They are the joy of my life. I taught middle school English and Theatre for eight years before I became a stay at home mom! Education is a huge part of my life and I love that I am still immersed in education with my little ones! I especially love when our roles reverse and they become the teacher uplifting me with their sweet bits of wisdom. I enjoy the many hats I wear including the hat of wife. My husband and I have been married for ten years. Our time has been spent doing what best friends do. He makes me laugh everyday. I feel so blessed to have a man who loves to make me laugh. It has been a great journey. He works hard and takes excellent care of us. I am very blessed to have such a good family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that Christ lives and this is His restored gospel. I have felt the Holy Ghost witness to me of its truth. I know he died for me, was resurrected and lives. I know that Joseph Smith restored this gospel and that he translated The Book of Mormon. I know it is another testament of Jesus Christ and His teachings. I also know that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet today in our time. I know he speaks with God and if we listen to him we will have futher direction in this gospel. My testimony is what keeps me going in this world each day. I see the awful things that are happening around me and it gives me hope that I know these things are true. I know that my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ love me and they want me to be happy. It gives me great comfort to know that I will be with my dear family for eternity. I feel a great sense of self-worth and confidence to know my Heavenly Father is watching over me!

How I live my faith

I get to teach Sunday School to the youth ages 14-16. I have really enjoyed teaching the scriptures to them. They are super smart and the conversations I have had with them have been really insiteful. I also get to plan a camp for the young women. They will spend some time camping and learning first aid, orientation, and survival skills, just to name a few. They will also get to go hiking and swimming. I'm really excited!
