Hi I'm Mitchel

I'm an Airbrush artist and an Animation student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Airbrush artist who mostly works with murals and designing T-shirts. I attend school in California studying Media Arts and Animation. When I'm not at work, or working on homework, I love bike riding around town with my wife and drawing.

Why I am a Mormon

The Lord promises many blessings to those who follow him and forsake the ways of the world. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have seen the promised blessings from our Savior in my life. As I study the scriptures, and live the principles of the gospel that are taught in the church, I am blessed beyond description. By living the teachings of the church, I know individuals can feel closer to God and live a happier more fulfilling life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. No member of the church is paid for their services within the church. We believe being selfless by serving in our church is a way of showing thankfulness for the blessing given to us by our Heavenly Father. The Lord has said ''When ye are in the service of your fellow man, ye are only in the service of your God.''

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

The ten percent of our earnings that we give to the church is called 'The Law of Tithing'. There are scriptures telling of how the Savior commands his followers to give ten percent of their tithes and offerings. But if you would like a more direct answer, The Lord/Church does not need the money of the members, but FAITH is what is asked for here. Money is the most coveted thing in this world, and the greatest demonstration of faith and obedience to our Savior is to obey the law of tithing. By obeying this commandment, we place our faith filled hearts in the Lords hands, and we are promised blessings from such sacrifice. I have a testimony of paying tithing, and by paying it, I am blessed beyond anything in this world available to buy.  Show more Show less
