Hi I'm Sonny

I grew up in Utah. I enjoy my family and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently work as an engineer in the semi-conductor industry. I am married to a beautiful woman and we have been blessed with four wonderful children (two sons and two daughters). I love to be with my wife and kids and we do everything together as a family. One of the greatest joys I experience every day is coming home from work and being greeted by my four little children yelling ‘daddy’s home, daddy’s home’ as they all run over to me and give me a big bear hug. Other activities I enjoy are: camping, snowboarding, landscaping, sports of all kinds and being around family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received my own witness from the Holy Ghost that the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth. Even though I was raised in an amazing LDS family, I had to gain my own testimony of the teachings of Jesus Christ and receive that witness for myself. This knowledge brings me great peace knowing there is more to our existence than what we will experience in this life and that the plan of salvation makes it possible for me and my family to be together in the eternities.

How I live my faith

I strive (on a daily basis) to live my faith by putting into practice the gospel teachings we review each Sunday at church. A couple of teachings I feel can make such an impact on individual’s lives are love and service. If I can pattern my life after Christ’s and reach out to those in both physical and spiritual need as he did, I know there will be more peace and happiness in my own life. However, I am not perfect and am very much in need of Christ’s Atonement every day, but as I take steps in the right direction I know my Heavenly Father will bless me.
