Hi I'm Jason

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of six kids and am the second youngest in my family. I enjoy running, hiking, playing tennis, and bike riding. I graduated in accounting and work as a public accounting auditor.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was able to gain a testimony of the truthfulness of this church at a young age. Personal prayer has been one of the key factors in helping me to know that this church is true. Through asking sincere questions in prayer, I have received answers through the spirit. The scriptures are filled with the promise that if you ask, you will receive answers. I have come to understand that we have an incredibly loving Heavenly Father, who is watching over us and knows us personally. Jesus Christ is our savior and is actively involved in our lives. He personally suffered for our sins and has felt our sorrows and our pains. He lives and has the power to heal us, just as he did while he was living on the earth. The Book of Mormon testifies of Him throughout its pages. Its words are pure truth because they are the words of Christ. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ appeared to him at a young age in answer to his prayer. Under the direction of Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith restored Christ's church again to the earth. The Lord has continued to call prophets after Joseph Smith to direct His church and I know that Thomas S. Monson is the Lord's prophet on the earth today. These are truths that anyone can come to know for themselves. The key is study and prayer. God will speak to your heart through his Spirit. I know that following the truth will fill your life with peace and pure joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making an effort to serve others. I actively attend my ward and serve as a Family Home Evening leader and ward organist.
