Hi I'm Roland Jay Rocha

I am happily married, a father of three beautiful children, a civil engineer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

We are the Rocha family five - and one furry four-legged addition named Choowii. We love riding bikes, dancing, reading scriptures together, going to church together, having picnics, playing sports, camping, and traveling. We also place high value on education for each of us. The children are still in elementary, but even as parents we continue to strive to learn and improve ourselves.

Why I am a Mormon

We are Mormons because we have found peace and happiness in the Gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We have found direction and purpose to our lives in the great plan of happiness that God has given us. We have a living prophet of God who leads our Church through direct revelation from God. Our faith is everything to us.

How I live my faith

We have been blessed with great neighbors that we enjoy visiting with and being involved in each others lives. Although none of us share the same political views or religion, it has never been an obstacle to true friendship. We know we are there for each other. We believe we are all brothers and sisters - children of the same Heavenly Father who loves us all equally regardless of our current circumstances and past choices. We love to share our faith as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For example, we recently had a temple open-house. At an open-house, all are invited to tour the temple and learn more about what we do in temples. Our children invited their school teachers to attend. We invited our friends and neighbors. We feel it is important to understand others and offer others the opportunity to understand us.
