Hi I'm Christine

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with three grown children. I was a stay at home for many years until finances dictated me returning to public work. We decided on a course of action that sent me to college to get a degree to become a registered nurse. After I returned to work I continued my education until I received a masters degree in nursing and became a family nurse practitioner. It was a long hard struggle, but with the help of the Lord and my family, I made it through.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 10 years old. My mother took the discussions and believed that this was where the Lord wanted us to be, so my two sisters and I and my mother were baptized. Through the different callings in the church I have increased the talents the Lord has given me. I've learned how to teach children, teenagers and adults, how to lead, and when to step aside and let others lead. When I was very young I was very shy, now I am not afraid to teach or speak at meetings. I have learned to see others as God sees them. The gospel has been restored in it's fullness, as it was in Jesus' day. My conversion to the gospel was one precept at a time.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in church over the years. I have taught the very young children 4 yrs old, teenagers and the adults. I taught an early morning scripture study class (semianary) for high school youth for 6 years. That meant getting up very early to teach them before they attended school. It was amazing to me to see these young people at 6am in the morning. I had the opportunity of attending seminary myself as a youth, and I remember the huge influence it was on my life. As I get older and my duties in life have changed from raising children, I have more time to spend on family history. Because of my family history work I have been reunited with cousins that I haven't seen since I was a young child. I have also been able to start a relationship with my half sister. In my clinic I have the opportunity of serving all of God's children. I can help them heal their physical maladies as well as give them guidance to a happier life by reminding them of their eternal nature. I am constantly reminded of how God loves all his children.
