Hi I'm Jesse

Born and raised in Las Vegas, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of 6, 9 if you count my half siblings. Being the oldest of those at home I am always doing things first, which sucks when I have no clue what I am doing but gives me many opportunities to be creative. I love the clarinet and had the wonderful opportunity to play in Carnegie Hall. I am a die hard Zelda fan. I love to learn, especially math and science. Math makes so much sense to me, I can understand it, so taking Calculus 3 my first semester in college was no problem for me. If you break everything down in its most basic form, and you can understand it, then you can build on it to understand even the most complex theorems. That is why I seek knowledge, to be able to understand the world around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I like to think a lot, and as I have grew up in the gospel, I have always had questions. I always question everything, and as I have sought answers to those questions, I can always find the answer. Because I have grown up in the church, I have had many opertunities to test it, to go at it from different sides, not only to understand it, but to know that this is God's church, that God exists and what we are supposed to do. I have seen God's hand in my life. I have seen what living the gospel of Jesus Christ has done for my life and the lives of those around me. It has provided me strength and answers to my prayers. Furthermore, to help me to know without anything else, I have prayed to know of the truth of the Gospel for myself and received a witnesis that the Church of Jesus Christ is on the Earth again. Because of my prayers, I know how to bless not only my life, but the lives of those around me.

How I live my faith

I have come home from being on a 2 year mission for the church. I got the chance to go out and talk to people all day and help them strengthen their faith in God. I always strive to be the best example, something I learned from being the oldest...it doesn't take long for my siblings to catch on when I am not my best and I get in trouble for it. So I always strive to be as Jesus Christ, a light unto the world, a blessing and not a burden. Opposition is always there, but it builds who I am and helps me to understand what Christ has gone through for me. That is why I always keep on going to institute classes and continue learning more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
