Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love boating, golf, skiing, scouting and model aircraft. I'm the father of 4 girls and 1 boy. I've been a scoutmaster for 11 years now and hope to be for many more. I am in real estate and more specifically mini self storage. I've been very blessed in my life to have a great family, great friends and to live in a wonderful community. I graduated from school in Electrical Engineering and while i've not pursued it as a career, have derived many side benefits from the skills I leaned at University. I recently built a wood fired oven and have taken up baking artisan breads and NY style thin crust pizza. It has been an awesome journey. I really love to travel and have been able to visit many places including the Orient, Europe, & South America. I recently enjoyed a visit to the Holy Land and had a great time in Jerusalem visiting the city where Jesus walked.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church to great parents who taught me right from wrong and also taught us to work hard. I have always believed this to be Gods true church. As I have studied to understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ better, I continually become more converted. For me it is a daily process. I love to study the history of the church and to read about the early pioneers that sacrificed so much to help us to get where we are today.

How I live my faith

I have been working with the youth for going on 15 years now. The majority of that time has been working with the young men from ages 12-14. It has been very rewarding to watch restless boys mature into young men. It has been my blessing to spend time with them both in the spiritual setting of sunday services to scouting adventures in the out doors. I love to see them return from serving their Savior on a full time 2 year mission, or to marry in the temple and begin a family. I have also enjoyed going to Mexico to build homes for wonderful families less fortunate that myself. It has been rewarding to rub shoulders both with the people as well as other volunteers. My daughters have come to love this work as well and look forward to the blessings of service.
