Hi I'm Mike

I'm a multi-unit manager for a Fortune 500 company, a father of 5 great kids, married to my dream girl & I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of five, a devoted husband, a multi-unit retail manager, a baseball coach and a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a nine year old boy my family was lost. My mother and father were recently divorced. As a family we were searching for something to hold onto. One day two missionaries came to our door, taught us about Jesus Christ and how he loved us all. Our family was never the same. We have continued to be blessed and I owe it all to my Savior, Jesus Christ. Living His Gospel has strengthened my relationship with my wonderful wife and awesome kids!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith like most I suppose. I try and be active in church activities, my community and of course with my family. In all that I do I try and make Christ the center of it, of everything. Having played and coached sports for a number of years competition can bring out the best or the worst in people. In those moments when things are seemly not going your way being grounded and centered by something bigger can bring a calm and peace.

What is being a Mormon like?

I used to think being Mormon was pretty much like being a member of any other Christian faith. One day though in the not so distant past a co-worker of mine asked that same question. As I went to answer I was interrupted by another non-Mormon co-worker. What she said changed my life. She said, “Mormon people are just Christians with higher standards. They don’t just belong to their church on Sunday, they belong every day. They don’t swear, smoke or drink and that makes them great people to live or work around”. Being Mormon is being an example and ambassador of Jesus Christ in all that we do. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not worship Joseph Smith. Many people ask this question...and trust me if all Mormons did...I wouldn't be a part of it :) However we are so grateful for his work and respect him for his sacrifice in being a instrument in the hand of God and restoring Christ church and Gospel in its fullness to the Earth.
