Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Husband, Father, Entrepreneur, Accountant, and a Mormon.

About Me

I have an amazing wife, a wonderful daughter and a great new son. They are the joy of my life. I love seeing how much my daughter learns so quickly. My wife is an awesome support to me and I am grateful for her. I recently graduated with a bachelors in Accounting. I am currently working in corporate accounting preparing for my masters degree and to sit for the CPA exam. While I was growing up I was always starting my own businesses mowing lawns, babysitting, selling school supplies etc... I have an entrepreneurial spirit and like helping small businesses succeed. On the side of my full time job I also help local small businesses with their websites, marketing and other day to day tasks. I enjoy website design, online marketing, and looking for new ways to do things.

Why I am a Mormon

I know God lives and that He loves me personally. I know He wants me to succeed and find joy in this life. That doesn't always mean it is easy, but there is so much good around us if we open our eyes. I know that God has a plan for us and that He has restored this plan completely for us today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by looking for ways to help others. I have been blessed with a great family and I feel their love everyday. I try to share this love with others around me, even if it is just a simple smile. When I think of the need of other people, I don't have to worry as much about the negative things in life. We all have ups and downs. We all have negative things that happen in our life, but it is our choice to either dwell on how bad it is, or to get up and make a difference.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

My faith in Jesus Christ helped me to see the importance of a strong family. We weren't just sent here to this earth to live alone. God provided a way for us to make it back to live with Him. During our lives, we learn, grow, and improve ourselves. To live this life completely alone would be difficult. God sent us here to families and friends. We can help each other every-day to make it back to live with God. While growing up, my parents, brothers and sisters were there to help and support me. Now that I am married, my wife supports me and I in turn support her. Our relationships with our spouse, family and friends help us learn from the strengths of others. I love my family and friends. The gospel of Jesus Christ helps me to see meaning and purpose in these relationships, we are helping each other to follow His ways and His teachings. Show more Show less
