Hi I'm Elizabeth

I am currently a single mother to five adopted children in addition to my own grown children.

About Me

I'm a single mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, an adopted mother, and a foster-mother. I have always loved the idea of being a mother. My first passion was to be a mother, especially to little babies. I love spending time with my children and taking them places. I feel like I'm staying younger by living my life through my children. When I need time away, I love going to garage sales and finding things to recycle and make new again. I love to fix up things and make them beautiful, and I love finding things at good prices.

Why I am a Mormon

All of my life I have been looking for a family in my church. Every church I went to left me feeling dissatisfied. Then I met the missionaries and came to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I felt loved by the people and finally found my "family" that I had been looking for. I felt more loved by the people at church than by my own family. Throughout my life, I wanted to know how I should live my life, and no one ever taught me that until I became a Mormon. I might look different than those around me, but my church family loves me for who I am on the inside. That's the love I feel when I am around them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching my children. I teach them about faith, gratitude, service, prayer, and how to treat other people. I also try to teach by example. I have five adopted children, and we always go to church on Sunday. We participate in all of the church activities, even during the week. I try to teach my children by following the guidelines from The Family A Proclamation to the World.
