Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a nurse, blogger, sister and friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some people call me sister, others daughter, grandaughter or niece. Some friend, and hopefully few an enemy. What do I call myself? A little crazy...but in a good way. And I am a Mormon. I love to bake, blog, Facebook/Blog stalk, talk, shop, read, crochet, sing, listen to music, play with/take care of children, make lists, and nap. I am not talented in the crafty or sporty departments...and I am terrible at math. I am a nurse, currently working on a cardiac floor-and hoping to someday branch out into pediatric cardiology! I am slightly OCD and a major control freak. But despite that-I love to have fun and be spontaneous.

Why I am a Mormon

The easy answer? I was born that way. My parents brought me up in the Gospel from the moment I was born. Better question? Why am I still a Mormon? Because the Church is true! It teaches about how to be happy. The Gospel teaches me how to be the best version of myself. Through my knowledge of the Gospel I am able to change and grow and progress. Being a Mormon also has a few social benefits! This Church is an excellent support system that can help you through all challenges and celebrate with you for every accomplishment.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is not just a Sunday only lifestyle. Everyday I try to increase my spirituality and faith through personal prayer and scripture study. Each day I try to be more like Christ through righteous thoughts and actions. Of course, I never am perfect, in fact I usually fail in an epic like manner. But thankfully I am able to try again each day In the past I have been able to teach the young children as well as coordinate music for our Sunday worship services. Currently I have the pleasure of working with the women in my congregation. I love being able to help these girls with everything they need, from spiritual to physical to emotional needs.
