Hi I'm Lee Higginbotham

I'm a Virginian. More importantly, I'm a husband, I'm a father, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have three awesome children. When I'm not spending time with them, I enjoy fly fishing, mountain biking, and backpacking/hiking. Professionally, I am a healthcare executive. Our son is serving a mission in the Portugal Lisbon Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the Church during a college break skiing trip to Utah with fraternity brothers. A sister who I met during this trip took the time to tell me about the Church. Every member a missionary holds true. Upon returning to school a Book of Mormon arrived a short time later. I began to read, attended Church, and met with the Missionaries. After much prayer and searching to know the truth my prayers were answered. I have not looked back and know without a doubt that my life has been more enriched and filled with purpose than before my conversion.

How I live my faith

Currently, with my work I split time between Virginia and Kentucky where I serve as a Seminary Instructor in one ward and a Gospel Doctrine Instructor in another. Also, in my work I have the opportunity to be involved and serve in many community organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and several Boards. This allows me to be involved in both Church and community activities where I can be an example and serve others.
