Hi I'm Anani

I'm Anani. I grew up in Togo in Africa, now I'm studying in france and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm a 22 year old student living in France near Paris. I'm studying electronics engineering and telecommunications. I like playing basketball and having good times with my friends. I enjoy listening to blues songs and trying to play it on the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Togo and I came to France when I was 11. I have been living with my big brother and his wonderful wife. They were members of the Church for some years and they talked me about that Church. When they invited me to come to the Church, I loved it because of the good spirit I could feel there, so I started to go there more and I could feel that it was the right place for me to be. But it is growing up that I gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel as taught in the Church. It is by reading the Book of Mormon, praying about it, by living the principles of the gospel that I had confirmation of their veracity. It was by studying by myself that I knew and now I can testify that the Book of Mormon is inspired by God, that Joseph Smith was truly guided by God and that the Mormon church teaches the complete and true gospel of Christ.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to serve youth in my ward. With others, I teach them the principles of the gospel, help them prepare their activities, I help them have their own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. It is a blessing for me because it teaches me a lot. I also have the opportunity to visit some families of my ward, get news from them and give them a short message of the gospel to strengthen their testimonies.
