Hi I'm Ron

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 5 children and grandfather of 8. I work in marketing, primarily Internet marketing for small to medium sized businesses. I enjoy running, working out at the gym and spending time with family and friends. I am also very involved in church activities (I teach a Sunday School class for people investigating the church and new members, I have administrative responsibilities and serve in the Newport Beach Temple every Friday morning for about 6 hours). I also try to find time to serve in the community at large. I have served as a School Board member, worked in community service projects and I have been a merit badge counselor for the Boy Scouts of America for more than 30 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been active in the Mormon church all of my life. As a teenager I was determined to find out for myself if the church was true. As I attended church, read the scriptures and prayed I gradually came to know for myself the truthfulness of the Gospel. Because of this simple testimony and faith I had a desire to share the Gospel with others. I was called to serve a mission in the North of England for two years. It was a wonderful experience. I met many people looking for answers to life’s questions and as I shared the Gospel and my testimony with them it was confirmed for me time and time again and blessed the lives of those who earnestly desired to find truth. Now forty years later, I still have dear friends in England. As the years have passed I have had many rich and sacred experiences that have strengthened my testimony and blessed me and my family.

How I live my faith

Life is fraught with challenges and trials. We live in very troubled times, with much uncertainty in the world. The Gospel of Jesus Christ helps me to find hope and peace. I begin each day reading the scriptures, praying and pondering the doctrines of the church and how these principles bless me and my family. As I applying the principles I study my life is blessed and I continue to grow in knowledge and understanding of my Heavenly Father’s love for me.
