Hi I'm Danny

I'm an elementary P.E. teacher, a fisherman and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 40 years now, father of five children and grandfather to sixteen wonderful grandchildren. I'm an elementary P.E. teacher and enjoy having my summers off to spend fishing! In Declo, ID where I am from, I'm just known as Boone. I enjoy being outdoors hunting with my sons, camping with my family or fishing with my wife. We live in a small community and enjoy the simple things in life.

Why I am a Mormon

The main reason that I am a Mormon is that my grandparents and parents are all Mormon. I'm 60 years old and have had my own testimony for 30 years now. I love the church, I love the Savior Jesus and love the guidelines that the church provides for my family. I know Jesus lives, he is a son of God, and that Joseph Smith restored the church.

How I live my faith

I have been active for over 30 years and have had many opportunities to serve the Lord. I usually work with the youth, but I am currently providing service to the widows and elderly of the ward and assure they are well looked after. I make many visits, cut firewood, yard work, and oh course supply them with plenty of fish and vegetables from my garden. I have enjoyed the opportunity to to serve the elderly and it has strengthened my testimony of Heavenly Father's love for us by placing people in our lives to bless us.
