Hi I'm Nate

I Love music, I Love Life, I Love having fun, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My Name is Nate. I was born in California, but lived most of my life in Tucson, Arizona. I am currently serving a mission in Portland Oregon. I LOVE music, listening to it, playing it, going to concerts, you name it, if music is involved, it most likely will involve me as well. I Love longboarding, hanging with friends, mountain dew, swimming, cliff jumping, shooting guns, sports, spending time with family, camping, grappling, and anything outdoors. I am planning on going to college, I am not sure what for yet. But, i am thinking of getting involved with Church Education, or in being a family doctor.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well, I was raised in the Church. But I did not always live in complete accordance with the way Mormons are counciled to live. As i made wrong choices, or did things we are counciled not to do, I noticed something missing. As I changed and made better choices, I noticed that I was happier. The simplest way to say it is I am a Mormon because that is where I can have the most happiness and joy. I am a mormon because i have desired to know if this church is true, and I have prayed and sought that knowledge from God. I am a mormon because I know that is What God wants for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a day to day basis. Every choice I make, I conisder my personal beliefs and how every choice may effect those beiefs. But mostly I live my faith by constantly excersizing faith in Jesus Christ. I strive my hardest to be like Him, and even though I am far from perfect, I enjoy the blessings I am given as a strive to do what is right. I live my faith through the example i try to set. As the apostle Paul said to Timothy "be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity". I try to follow that advise as best I can. I also try to emmulate the Saviors example of "leaving the ninety and nine" and searching for the one. I try hard to reach out to those in need, and to help anyone who may be struggling. I know the Savior set the perfect example, and I try to follow it daily, even though i always fall short. I am trying to help everyone of God's children know of Him and know His plan by serving a full-time mission in the Oregon Portland mission. It is the BEST!

What do Mormons believe about family?

Mormons believe that the Family is the most important social unit. That familys are ordained of God and that familys can and should be together forever. We believe that through the power of God, our familys can be sealed for all time and eternity. My family has been sealed, and I know that it will only be heaven if I am there with them. When Our Familys are centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we find that we are closer, and even when we fight, we have at least one huge thing in common. We believe in Christ and are all working for the same goal. As My family was all baptized and recieved the Gift of the Holy Ghost God's gift to all who enter into the covenant of baptism, that allows them to have the constant companionship of the Holy ghost to lead us and guide us and comfort usand we continue to all excerise Faith in Christ, and repent constantly since none of us are perfect. But more importantly we help each other to do those things and are able to lean on eachother when times are hard. Show more Show less
