Hi I'm Scott

I grew up in Southern California. I'm the principal at a high school.

About Me

I'm the father of six children and I have a wonderful wife. I'm the principal of a local high school. We have a family garden in the winter and in the summer. I like to do my own yard work and eat the fruit from our apricot, citrus and apple trees. We live in suburban Los Angeles county, on a street with interesting and diverse neighbors. I like to get to know people.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My faith is the strength of my life. It helps me in everything I do--with my career, in my relationships with my children, and with my wife. Most of all, my faith gives me peace. When I get stressed at work, I rely on what I've been taught. I've been able to adapt to what life has given me--and it hasn't always been easy--and I know it's because of my faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I can't imagine life and not being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I just try to live the best I can. It's a lot easier when you have the teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to guide you. It's like a road map. I know I've been protected from many of the hassles of life because I have chosen to live my faith. Being a Mormon has been the glue that has held me together!
