Hi I'm Rachel

I am from New Jersey. I am a missionary. I am a mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with my family and close friends. I am an art major and I love it. I love to visit museums and learn new things. Currently I am serving a mission for the church and will be heading down to Mexico for my mission. I love to smile and I love being a member of the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to have grown up as a member of the church. My mom has grown up in the church and my dad joined the church was he was a teenager and through their example, I have continued to be a member of the church. Going to college and being on my own, I have realized that what I have learned is that the gospel of Jesus Christ has become a part of me that I am able to continue to follow Him. I have learned through prayers and scripture study that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that one day I can return to live with Him. Knowing this has helped me continue to live His gospel one day at a time.

How I live my faith

I hope to be an example to others. I have decided to put my life on hold for a year and a half so that I can help others come unto Christ and receive the joy and happiness that I have had in my life. Being a disciple of Jesus Christ is the greatest thing anyone can do. Day by day I hope to see improvement in my life and in the lives of others.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes Mormons are Christians. To be considered a Christian, one must believe that Jesus Christ is his or her Savior. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, also known as the Mormon church, believes that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, which would make the church considered a Christian church. What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God. He is our advocate with the Father, meaning He took all of our sins upon Himself so that we would have the opportunity to live with God again. He is the Savior of the world and a perfect example for all of us. Without Christ we would not be able to overcome death and be with Him once again. All that we have, we owe to our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ lives. Show more Show less
