Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a Mormon. I teach children public education. I am raising a family.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful woman. We have two beautiful children. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Education which includes licensing for administration. I like to play video games in some of my spare time. I draw, not as much as I should! I also force myself to exercise fairly often. We love the gospel and try to live it in our house. We are not perfect. But we are happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I was born into it. I have stayed Mormon because I have been converted. There is peace and hope. There is also a plan that makes sense and answers life's questions. God is real. His Son died for us. We have a prophet today who gives us counsel and direction. We can choose for ourselves. Every time I choose to listen I have seen blessings. Times I have not or do not result in internal struggle and things just don't go as smoothly!

How I live my faith

I am currently the Ward Mission Leader in our Ward. I have found this to be challenging but rewarding. We have experienced success and toil. But it is wonderful to be involved in finding people for the Elders to teach and helping those people make commitments to change their lives.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Jeff
We're asked not to. It is a matter of faith. There are health benefits and we avoid addiction, but I think mostly it is a matter of "do I really believe and have enough faith to avoid these substances."  Show more Show less
