Hi I'm Sherrie Greener

I'm a Mormon. Born and raised in the LDS church. I live in Idaho with my husband of 25 years. We have 7 children!

About Me

I live in a small town in Idaho where we have four seasons! I love the spring and fall most of all. I have seven children and love being a mom. I have 2 married children and one grandchild that is the most adorable thing you ever saw! My husband and I have been married for 25 years and we love each other more each day...ok most days!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy! I was born into a very active Mormon family but have learned over the years that it is something that I have loved my whole life. My mother is the best example that I can think of, she is the most charitable, selfless, giving person alive. I remember her writing in her day planner to do service for someone each day. Being a Mormon has helped me be a better person. When I was a young girl in primary and then in Young Womens the programs they had like personal progress helped me learn to set and achieve goals that helped me throughout my life. My whole life all I wanted to do was get married in the temple and be a mother! I know Joseph Smith is a true prophet. When I read his history and other books about him I feel a peace and love for him and the things he did to help restore the gospel here on earth. The Book of Mormon is true and each time I read it....sometimes it takes me a long time to get through it I learn more and it strengthens my tesitmony of it and I know it is for me to learn and grow. I love following our prophet! He is an amazing man filled with the spirit of our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

As a young child I was taught to go to church EVERY Sunday. I have made this a habit and it isn't hard to do. I love Sundays, going to church recharges me so I can make it through the week! I have served in many callings in the church. The majority of my married life I have served in the Young Womens. I love serving there and part of my heart will always be with the girls I have tought. Many of them are mothers now and I only hope the things I taught them by the spirit will help them be better wives and mothers in the gospel. I am currently serving in the primary as the chorister and I LOVE IT!!! I love teaching the children to sing and to feel the spirit through song. I think I could stay in this calling forever!
