Hi I'm Jason

New York blood, Illinois born, Idaho raised, Mormon through and through

About Me

I'm a sports-playing, economics-studying, life-loving college kid who doesn't need drugs or booze to make things roll. Give me friends, give me camping, give me food--I'll give you something to remember! High-five a tiger!

Why I am a Mormon

For me, religion is about choice. I choose to be Mormon because I'm happy that way. It forces me to decide between what is and isn't important. Family, service, good hard work, and memories you can share with your kids - not money, momentary gratification, and self-indulgence. I was raised Mormon, but in my teenage years I realized that religion was my choice, mine alone. I prayed and received no vision or heavenly manifestation. But by continued prayer and testing of the church's doctrines, I received my answer. I know the teachings of this church to be true. I know the Book of Mormon and the Bible to be true. I've tested the commandments and I've been blessed for keeping them. I don't know what the future holds, but I'm confident the Lord is watching, waiting, and willing to help. You can know too. Just be willing to ask and, more importantly, willing to act.

How I live my faith

I'm a teacher for a group of young single adult men at my local congregation. I mostly teach about preparing to become a better husband and father, as well as how we can more closely follow the example of Jesus Christ today.
