Hi I'm Nadine

I'm a college student, an oldest child, a lover of books and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six children. I am a college student at Brigham Young University, studying to be a high school math teacher. I love to read; my favorite genres are mystery and historical fiction. I love to make and listen to music. I love the Lord and His gospel with all my heart and I know that as I continue to keep His commandments, everything will work out for my good.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. I love this Church so much. I have seen it bless my life and the lives of those around me time and time again. I know that this is the true church of our Savior and Brother, the living Jesus Christ. I love the teachings of the Gospel. I know from experience that blessings will come from living the commandments even if we may not see those blessings immediately. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers, and that He loves us. He loves me so very much and I know He loves you too.

How I live my faith

I have served in the Church as a pianist for the ward choir and also as an organist for church meetings. I have loved these callings because they involve music, which I love. Every day I try my best to do the little things like praying and reading my scriptures. I have a strong testimony in doing the little things. I know that when we are sincerely doing things like praying, studying the scriptures, and going to church meetings we will have the companionship of the Holy Ghost in our lives. It is this companionship that enables us to become our best selves and continually strive to live a righteous life.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Nadine
The Book of Mormon is a set of scripture that was translated by the prophet Joseph Smith Jr. and first published in 1830. It is a record of the members of the Church that lived on the American continent from 600 years before Christ was born to 400 years after He died. It includes the account of Christ visiting the people on the American continent after His resurrection. It is a testament of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
