Hi I'm Kristina

I am a wife, a twin, I am an outdoors women, I am a health freak, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The gospel is the light among darkness! I was born a twin, to the most amazing sister I could ever ask for. Growing up my mom, twin and I were the only active ones in our family. It was hard being a member among many who ridiculed us for our beliefs. For a long time during these persecuting times all I had was my twin sister. We relied on each others faith through these hard times. Eventually we were able to escape a very difficult situation, my sister joined the military and I attended university. We both learned and came closer to God through our various situation. I decided to attend an LDS mission, where yet again I received persecution for my desire to serve the one thing that had brought me the greatest amount of happiness. Unable to fund my mission my sister stepped in and funded my ENTIRE mission. While she was serving over seas in Iraq she made sure that my mission was paid for. How blessed I was to have a sister who was willing to provide such service that I could never thank enough. A year after I completed my mission, 3 days before my wedding, my sister was killed in a car accident on the way to my wedding. It was the darkest day I have ever experienced, because the one who was always there and that I loved the most was not. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ Sacrifice I was able to endure my dark hours and find peace and joy in the journey. You too can find that peace please listen to those who can teach you the things that has provided me with strength!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints because I know that this church is true. The Lord has blessed me with the greatest of circumstances. Growing up my step Dad was not supportive in our attendance at church. He is one of the greatets guys I cannot begin to tell you what he has taught me and how much I love him but when it came to church things he wouldn't support us. It was hard growing up having that but through the trials I was able to attach myself to the church and my church family and found peace. I felt that even though it was rough at home I could always turn to my Savior and find the peace that He provides. Because of this I know with out a doubt that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I remember one night after having a talk about the church with my dad it did not end beautifully, it led me to my knees. I went to my closet knowing that this was the only way I could receive relief. I remember kneeling in my closet crying to the Lord and I remembered this feeling come over me that God knew me and that what I was sticking up for was true. God truly comforted me. I am also blessed to have a twin sister who provided added strength in circumstances. I testify to you that this gospel is true and that God knows each one of us. He loves us so much that he reach out in love and called Joseph Smith to restore the Lords church. Today we have a wonderful Prophet who leads those who humble themselves before God and listen. The Lord has also allowed me to go on a mission representing Jesus Christ. My testimony has grown exponential because of these experience. I pray that you will know for yourself what has blessed my life. Don't take the opportunity to learn more about Christ for granted. Trust in Him and he will not teach you wrong.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a missionary, who is called of God. Before I was a missionary I have played in many roles such as working with young children in what we call the Primary, children ages 18 months to 12 years old. While attending university I taught sunday school to college age students. It was been a privilage and an honor to serve in the church.
