Hi I'm Robyne

I am a wife, a mother and I have anxiety and depression. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom to four wonderful children and I am married to my eternal sweetheart. I enjoy the peacefulness of living out in the country and living in a farming community where everyone knows your name. I love the smell of fresh cut hay after it rains and spending time in the mountains especially when the leaves on the trees are changing colors. I have anxiety and depression that can sometimes be a burden not only to me but to my family as well. I have learned through these trials in my life that I do have a loving Heavenly Father that knows me personally. He hears my prayers and provides me with peace even through my darkest hours.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a LDS family where the gospel of Jesus Christ was always taught. From a young age, I learned how to pray to my Father in Heaven and to seek guidance from him in all aspects of my life. Prayer has been a great source of strength to me. I know that I can always turn to my Father in Heaven in prayer knowing that he will always answer me and bless me with the peace and reassurance that I need. I know that I am a daughter of God. I know that he knows each and everyone of us personally and he loves each of his children. He wants us to be happy. I have found happiness in living and following the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

My family is the most important thing to me. I am grateful to belong to a church that promotes strong family values. Each morning, my husband and I gather our children together and read from the scriptures and have family prayer. This helps to set the tone for the rest of the day. When we study our scriptures together and pray, it helps to ease any hard feelings that we might have had and allows peace to enter our hearts and home. As a family, we eat each meal together at the dinner table. This gives us the opportunity to talk about our day and laugh together. We also make time in the evening once a week to come together as family and have a family night. Sometimes it is something as simple as going out for ice cream and other times we have some serious discussions. To me, it is all about family.
