Hi I'm Rod

I am serving a mission for two years and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to mountain bike whenever I can, and hang out with my family. I'm currently on my mission in Safford Arizona I started serving my mission on April 6, 2011

Why I am a Mormon

I have a firm testimony that Jesus is the Christ, and that his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is his one and only church on this earth, which was restored by Joseph Smith when he recieved an answer from our Father in Heaven, and his son Jesus Christ in a grove of trees, to restore the gospel which was on the earth during Jesus Christ's earhty ministry.

How I live my faith

I am serving the Lord for two years by giving all my time and enegry to bring people closer to Christ by helping them recieve the restored gospel through faith in Jeus Christ, Repentence, babtism by immerson, recieving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Rod
People who were not able to hear about the restored gospel while on earth will be able to hear about it the spirit world, and will have someone on earth act as a proxy for them so the person who has passed on will be able to reach the highest kingdom in Heaven.  Show more Show less

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Rod
You will need to contact the Missionaries, by clicking on missionary request on the top hand part of the screen. The missionaries will then teach you about the restored gospel on this earth, and you will read the Book of Mormon, and pray to know that it is true, and you will then have an interview with another missionary who will need to find you worthy to be baptized and a confirmed as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
